Congratulations to our Lions Club Student of the Month, Derek Whelan. Derek was recognized for his exceptional leadership and dedication to excellence in all that he does. Derek is impressive in the classroom, whether that be Advanced Placement Calculus or Precision Metals, he excels on the baseball diamond, qualified for State in the ACES-Academic Challenge, is a key member of the math team, and serves as NHS president. Derek was nominated by Ms. Brundage, Ms. Dahm, Mr. Magee, Ms. Roth, and Ms. Sievers.
